THE BROWN SHOE EDIT 🤎

I’m not even looking at black shoes right now.

Apparently, I’m having a very serious brown moment — chocolate, chestnut, cocoa, suede + calf hair are all I want for fall.

After nearly 20 years of buying shoes, I’ve learned that the best updates aren’t the ones that require an entirely new wardrobe. They’re the pieces that make everything you already own feel new again.

And this fall, brown is that update.

I’m starting with loafers + ballet flats — the perfect shoes for this in-between season when I’m completely over sandals but absolutely nowhere near ready for boots — and I’ll keep adding to the edit as we move further into fall.

These are the pairs I’d put on my floor right now: wearable, interesting + just different enough from what you probably already own.

Because really...
