Flowers & Mimosas 🌸

Flowers & Mimosas 🌸

Mother’s Day has come to mean more to me with every passing year. Out of everything I do, every role I’ve had—being called mom is, without question, my greatest honor.

And I’ll be honest… I really look forward to this one Sunday a year.

I love my family, I love a good brunch, and I especially love an endless mimosa

The past few years, we’ve made a little tradition out of it—heading to Post House or The Obstinate Daughter on Sullivan’s. It’s slow, it’s special, and it’s one of those days where I try to just be in it. No rushing, no overthinking—just good food, good conversation, and a moment to appreciate it all.

What I Wear (Because Yes, It Matters)

For me, Mother’s Day style is all about that balance:
pretty, but not overdone… polished, but still comfortable.

I want to feel like myself—just slightly elevated.

Think:

  • Soft florals
  • Easy, flattering silhouettes
  • Pieces I can sit, sip, and stay awhile in
  • Shoes I can actually walk in (always)

Nothing fussy. Nothing forced. Just pieces that feel good the second you put them on.

Flowers & Mimosas

I pulled together a collection of what I’d wear to Mother’s Day brunch this year—pieces that feel effortless, feminine, and easy to say yes to.

From a standout floral dress to a simple neutral moment, plus the shoes and bags that pull it all together—it’s everything I’d reach for without overthinking it.

A Little Note

Whether you’re celebrating with your kids, your mom, friends, or just taking a moment for yourself—I hope it feels special.

And if there’s a mimosa involved… even better

With love,
Melissa
